Our Approach
High Country Solutions offers both hands-on organizing services and organizational coaching. The following information should help you answer the following questions: What's the difference? What do I need? Hands-on organizing is designed to tackle a specific project immediately with the professional organizer doing a large part of the work necessary under direction from the client. Hands-on organizing is the most efficient way to achieve goals that are time constrained or irregular. This type of organizing typically applies to clients looking to reclaim a space (guest room, closet, garage, etc.) or tackle a defined project (clear out a storage unit, purge files, re-do a wardrobe). The work is done quickly and the task is completed fully in just one or a few sessions. Coaching involves regularly scheduled appointments designed to transfer organizing skills from the professional organizer to client. Individuals who are suffering with organizing challenges that seem endless or may be caused by grief, ADHD or other conditions that make organizing difficult, benefit most from this type of approach. To best ensure the transfer of skill, the professional organizer fills the roll of 'coach' to encourage productive, habit forming, organizational skills as the client works with their own hands. Through consistent repetition, clients are able to re-train themselves while developing stronger organizational skills.
In all organizing situations, High Country Solutions strives to help its clients 'live lighter'. We take very seriously the life events that lead to organizing challenges and try to help our clients find the resources that will truly benefit them the most. Our goal is to support our clients as they take active steps to reduce the stress and clutter in their lives with compassion and consistency.
